Abstract
This research aimed to develop a learning process using the STEM study model of Machine Tool Drawing 1
using a 7- step inquiry-based learning process. to determine the quality of the learning plan according to the
STEM education model of machine tool drawing 1) To compare the learning achievement of learners who
studied with the STEM-educational learning plan of Machine Tool Drawing 1 with an achievement criterion of
80% and to measure learners' satisfaction with the learning plan with the STEM-educational learning plan in
the subject of machine tool drawing 1) The sample group was 20 students with a 2nd-year vocational certificate
in Machine Mechanic, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Nakhon Phanom University studying in the first
semester of 2021, selected from Purposive Sampling. The research tools consist of 1) student manual, 2)
teacher manual, and 3) satisfaction assessment form. The results showed that the learning plan of the STEM
education model in Machine Tool Drawing-1 was of the quality with a mean of 4.57, which was at an excellent
level. The students' post-study achievements were averaged equal to 87. 97 was significantly higher than the
standard achievement criteria set at 80 percent at the .01 level. The mean satisfaction in learning activities with
the STEM learning plan was high.
