Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study mathematical reasoning ability on the topic of parallel and students’ satisfaction learning activities by concept attainment model. A sample was a group 35 Matthayom Suksa 2 students from Chanpradittharam Witthayakom School in the first semester of the academic year 2021 in which obtained by using purposive sampling with ability grouping. Research instruments consisted of 10 learning activity plans by using concept attainment model on the topic of parallel, mathematical reasoning ability assessments on the topic of parallel and students' satisfaction questionnaire. The research results revealed that at least 70 percent of students learning activities by concept attainment model on the topic of parallel obtained mathematical reasoning ability more than 70 percent of the total scores at the significance level 0.05. Students’ satisfaction toward the learning activities by using concept attainment model on the topic of parallel was in highest satisfaction level.
