Abstract
This research was aimed to survey the satisfaction towards sales, to develop and to evaluate the quality of contents on online social media platforms to promote products of small business entrepreneurs who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic. Further, it was aimed to evaluate the perception and the satisfaction of the sampling group towards the contents on online social media platforms. The contents were developed according to the 5 stages of ADDIE Model as in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The tools included 1) a survey on satisfaction towards sales, 2) contents on online social media platforms to promote products of small business entrepreneurs who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic, 3) a questionnaire to evaluate the contents and the media presentation, 4) a perception questionnaire, and 5) a survey on the satisfaction of the sampling group. The findings from the survey with 24 small business entrepreneurs showed that their satisfaction towards sales was at a low level ( = 1.79, S.D. = 0.93). Then, the researchers used the survey results to design and to develop contents and then asked the panels of experts to evaluate the contents. The quality of the contents was at a very good level (
= 4.59, S.D. = 0.20) and the quality of the media presentation was at a very good level (
= 4.63, S.D. = 0.04). Then, the researchers developed contents on the following online social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Fanpage “ECT Social Lab”. Then, the researchers collected the data of followers on Facebook Fanpage “ECT Social Lab” by choosing those who had subscribed for at least 1 month and were willing to participate in the questionnaire survey. 100 users were chosen using purposive sampling method. The perception of the sampling group was at a high level (
= 4.43, S.D. = 0.16) and the satisfaction of the sampling group was at the highest level (
= 4.59, S.D. = 0.54). The entrepreneurs expressed the highest level of satisfaction towards this project (
= 4.52, S.D. = 0.45). Therefore, the contents on social media platforms to promote products of small business entrepreneurs who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic could be put into actual use. This research was aimed to survey the satisfaction towards sales, to develop and to evaluate the quality of contents on online social media platforms to promote products of small business entrepreneurs who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
